Subscription Terms

These Subscription Terms explain how Fern & Friend subscription orders work, including billing, renewals, cancellations, and your rights as a customer. By starting a subscription, you agree to these terms.

“Company,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Fern & Friend.


1. How Subscriptions Work

When you purchase a subscription:

  • You will be billed automatically at the interval you selected
  • Your subscription will renew until you cancel
  • Prices shown at checkout apply to all future renewals unless updated

A subscription counts as an ongoing purchase plan. By checking out, you authorize recurring charges using your saved payment method.


2. Billing and Payment

All payments are securely processed thr style="margin: 3rem 0;"ough Shopify.

By subscribing, you agree:

  • To recurring charges at the price displayed
  • That your payment method may be updated by your bank or card network
  • That we may attempt to reprocess failed payments

If your payment fails and cannot be processed, we may pause or cancel your subscription.


3. Renewal Schedule

Your subscription renews automatically based on the cycle you choose:

  • Small Dogs (1 jar/month)
  • Medium Dogs (2 jars/month)
  • Large Dogs (4 jars/month)

Your renewal date is visible in your customer account.

We may update pricing in the future. You will be notified before any price change takes effect on your subscription.


4. How to Cancel

You may cancel your subscription at any time before your next billing date.

To cancel:

  1. Log into your customer account
  2. Open your subscription
  3. Select “Cancel Subscription”

If your next order has already processed, cancellation will apply to the following cycle.

We cannot reverse charges for orders that have already begun fulfillment.


5. Shipping and Delivery

Subscription orders ship on the same timeline as regular orders:

  • Processing: 1–2 business days
  • Delivery: 2–5 business days via USPS Ground Advantage
  • US-only shipping

If you need to update your address, please do so before your next renewal date.


6. Refunds on Subscription Orders

You may request a refund for any subscription order within 60 days of delivery, following our Refund Policy.

7. Changing Your Subscription

You may update:

  • Dog size plan
  • Delivery frequency
  • Address
  • Payment method

All changes must be completed before your next billing date to take effect on the upcoming shipment.


8. Failed Payments

If a renewal payment fails:

  • Shopify may retry the charge
  • You may receive an email prompting you to update your payment method
  • If payment remains unsuccessful, your subscription may be paused or canceled

9. Product Availability

If an item becomes unavailable, we may:

  • Delay the shipment until restocked
  • Substitute the product with your approval
  • Cancel the upcoming order
  • You will be notified if a delay is expected.

10. Modifications to These Terms

We may update these Subscription Terms at any time. Changes apply to all future renewals.
We will notify you if the updates materially affect your rights or charges.
